Believe it or not, the Clinton
Justice Department has actually said that minority recruitment at this police department
may constitute illegal reverse discrimination. In a remarkable display of government
double-speak, DOJ officials said they don't want police depts. pursuing applicants based

New Jersey Police, Fire, and Municipal agencies are subjected to extraordinary
racial-quota hiring requirements by the NAACP and the U.S. DOJ. Police and Fire, in
particular, have been required to "dumb down" entrance exams specifically to

New York, like many of the states in the upper Northeast, has imposed severe race-based
hiring and promotion requirements on its Police, Fire, and Municipal agencies.
In particular, the U.S. Department of Justice has hired specialized minority consultants
such as SHL/Landy Jacobs to devise government-approved "dumbed down" employment
exams which are designed to allow more persons of the right color to pass employment
