Trepanier's case was tried before a jury in Genesee County Circuit Court in April of 2004.  On April 4, 2004 the jury rendered their verdict in favor of Mr. Trepanier.

          The Jury Form, below, shows exactly what the jury in Trepanier determined.   The award of $3,073,500 was the largest verdict ever in a case of this type within the state of Michigan.  Remember that of the eight jurors on this case, seven of them were women.
