Mark Lundin:
Director

Mark Lundin, Director
Mark Lundin
Mark Lundin writes:  "I have been a Non-Commissioned Command Officer in the United States Air Force, as well as a Command Officer in the Benton Harbor (Michigan) Police Department. This has resulted my being professionally employed for over 21 years. In both the Military and Civilian sector I have received training and experience in Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity. As a result of my military career I have had the opportunity to work with a number of people from different backgrounds in various parts of our country, as well as with citizens of other countries in their native land.

"Through my employment I have had the opportunity to witness the effects of affirmative action and discrimination, and the negative impact it can have on an organization. I am currently involved in litigation as a victim of (reverse) discrimination.

"I believe my most important qualifications [as Director of Adversity.Net] are that I have strong morals and personal values based on my belief that nobody should be discriminated against based on gender, race or ethnicity. Nor should anybody receive preferential treatment based on gender, race or ethnicity. I respect the rights and opinions of others and can recognize when my opinions may be wrong. I function well as a member of a team and am goal oriented."

Adversity.Net is proud to have Mark Lundin as a Director.

(Editor's Note:  When I first heard of Mark Lundin's reverse discrimination case against his police department, I was struck by the numerous similarities between Mark's case and thousands of others: (a) highly qualified white applicants were being refused hiring in favor of less qualified "minority" applicants; (b) questionable behaviors by minority officers were routinely ignored while legitimate behaviors by white officers were scrutinized heavily, especially if the white officer made the "mistake" of arresting a minority criminal defendant; and (c) a "majority black" political structure behaved in a very discriminatory way toward white employees.  In joining our Board of Directors, Mark Lundin has become a de facto representative of thousands of white police officers, firefighters, and municipal employees who face reverse discrimination every day.  -- Tim Fay)
